 The Dewi Danu Statue 

The Dewi Danu Statue is a wonderful work of art. It is located in Songan Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, Bali. It is on the shore of Lake Batur, the largest lake in Bali. People can get to the Dewi Danu statue by car or public transportation. From Denpasar, they can take a car or bus to Kintamani. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. 

The Dewi Danu statue is 15 meters tall and made of bronze. It depicts Dewi Danu, the goddess of water in Balinese Hinduism. She is standing on a rock in the lake, facing the mountains. 

The Dewi Danu Statue stands by the shores of Lake Batur, a lovely volcanic lake in the northeast part of Bali. The lake is surrounded by the impressive Mount Batur and Mount Abang, creating a magical background for this big piece of art. 

This place is sacred not only for its natural beauty but also for its cultural significance. Lake Batur is crucial for watering the region's rice fields, which are very important for Bali's farming. It's also thought to be where Dewi Danu, the goddess of water and fertility, lives, making this spot spiritually important.

This enormous bronze statue shows Dewi Danu, Bali's water goddess, in all her glory. She stands elegantly on a lotus seat, gently holding a pitcher that pours water into the lake below, showing her role as the giver of life. Her calm face and the detailed decorations on her traditional Balinese outfit and throne create a sense of peace and respect.
